The Living Planet Symposium 2025 (Vienna, 23-27 June) focused on transitioning from Earth observation to climate action and sustainability, gathering more than 6,900 participants and over 4,200 scientific presentations.
Some members of the SARWAVE consortium presented the latest advances in SAR oceanography carried out within the SARWAVE project. They are the following:
Frédéric Nouguier (Ifremer) presented the ‘Sea-state parameter retrieval from Interferometric Wide Swath acquisitions of Sentinel-1’ at the session A.08.02 Advances in the theory and methodology of SAR Oceanography - PART 2.

Lisa Maillard (Ifremer) presented ‘SARWAVE : Revealing Sea-State variability with wide acquisitions of Sentinel-1 SAR’ at the session A.08.04 Submesoscale air-sea interactions: understanding, observability and impact.
